Hi ,

I have to send a record to 3rd party system via middleware using standard IDOC..Please let me know is there any confguration or coding is required in ECC..

get some training documents on idoc,

if it is a standard idoc and you want to send as it is, then no need of coding anything. just set up distribution model or partner profile(we20). it will take care of every thing,.. you need automatic triggering of idoc then learn about 'Change Pointer'. tcodes BD50, BD52 etc..
