OBJECT_CHECK_XXXX Function Module Not Found

Hello,

We are trying to set-up classiifcation for material groups. When trying to make this configuration in CL24N, we get an error CL535 - Function Module Not Found. The performance assistant says that the function module must be created via SE37. "You can copy from module OBJECT_CHECK_MARA to help you".

Hmmm.... does that mean I need to create a function module in SAP's namespace or is there a missing setting that will generate this function module? Has anyone tried to do this?

Please let me know.

Regards, Dean.

You can create the function module in SE37. Name it as OBJECT_CHECK_zzzz where the zzzz would be customer name space in a custom function group.

It should work. Let us know if you have problems.
