Numbers Under Barcode

Hi Gurus,

I have created a system barcode using SE73 with symbiology being 'Interleaved 2 of 5', and all other normal settings. When i test the barcode from se73, i am able to see the number under the barcode.

But when i assign the barcode to a character format in the style and assign the char format to a variable, only the bar code gets printed, not the numbers under the barcode.

Please let me know is there any other setting for the numbers to be displayed in the smartform output under the barcode,

Closing this thread. The only way to get numbers under the barcode looks like using a variable under it to print the numbers, no other way.

but what if I need to print the bar code vertically?

I can not find a way to add text as code
