Number Range Object

Hi Everybody,

I want to create Number onjects of my own. But whenever i tried to create it using 'SNRO', I get the error message "Invalid Call sequences for objects when recording changes". Can Anybody help me out. Its very Urgent

Hi varun,

1. ihave not encountered such error,

but ,

while creating number range object,

and THEREAFTER creating number ranges

and assigning numbers to them,

we should have customization right

in that client.!!

(other wise it won't allow to

create NUMBER RANGES)

hi varun...

what i have done ..i create a ztable for that....

i required it for gate entry...

i generated a doc no consists of plant + year + seried...

ztable consists of doc no - plant - year

then it is upto ur requirements of locking and all..

Try FM "NUMBER_GET_NEXT".

Hello Varun,

I created Number range in following way... Let me know if u did somethign different.

Trx SNRO->entered Z name for the NR. Press create button. Maint. Short text and lang text. Assign Number length domain to whatever length u want say CHAR18. Entered warning as say 10% saved it and then created number range interval for the same.

Do let me know if u are doing it differently and also where exactly r u getting this error.

Thanks for ur reply. I have done all these steps. Even I am checking for errors it give me no error, but when I am trying to save the number object, It gives a popup window with message " Invalid call sequence for interfaces when recording Changes". Please help me out. It is very Urgent.

HI,

i think no customisation is needed.

u need to enter the tcode and field name in the SNRO.

2. from the program call fn module GUID_CREATE.
