Notification Creation Problem?

Hi All,

I have 1 custom program in one system (b1)& same program is another(b2) for creation of notiofication.

the program in b1 is running fine & creating notification but the program in b2 system is not showing any error but dodn not create notification.

i debug both program but didn't get much information where exactly the error is?

the both progarms are same in data declaration & all attributes are same.

Can any one tel me where exactly the error will be.

What type of notification did the B1 program create ?

Also could tell on what system these both are working now ?

Hi,

I have two diffeternt systems say B1 & B2 the program for notification creation is working fine in nB1 but the same program is not creating notification in B2 system.

i debug but unable to solve the issue.

any body have any idea where the issue is.

i am using BDC for the notification creation.

Hi Oorvi,

Some of the reasons for this to happen are...

1. The programs are not identical.... I hope the programs are same. Best way is to compae the two programs in differnet system by doind a remote compare

2. The configurations are different... I think functional support should be able to help you with this...

3. Both the systems are on differnt SAP version because of which your BDC is not functioning the way it should be....

Please explore these firther... Hope you get your problem in one of these....

If none of the above is true then you will have to do a painful excersive of debugging simultaneously in both the system and finding out where the deviation happens and then explore furtherwhy it happened.

Eventhough the system are different the sap version is same ECC 6.0

The program is also same. after deugging also unable to find error so very confused.

Hi Joshi,

Can you be more abt the issue?

Let me know what kind of notification you are creating, how you are synchornising both the systems.

Are you refering to development and quality systems?

Wil both the systems create a notification synchronously?
