Hi Guys,

While I am creating a function code in Menu Painter say with some name 'PRT' or any other name, when I am double clicking on it, its giving a message that Function code PRT has not be assigned to a function key

What should I do to resolve this.

Regards,

Hi Sudhir,

U might hav not attached function key settings to it.

U can create function key setting corresponding to any application tool bar with following procedure>>>>>>>

To create a function key setting:

1.With the Menu Painter in change mode, open the work area.

2.Expand the F key assignment section of the work area.

3.Enter a function code in the first input field for the corresponding function key.

If you want to link to an existing function key setting, see Linking objects in a GUI status.

4.In the second input field, enter a text for the function. This text is then visible as documentation whenever the user presses the right mouse button.

When you define a function key in the Recommended function key settings group, the system proposes a default function description. However, you can overwrite this text. You should only assign functions to these function keys that correspond to the standard description, since these are intended to be used uniformly throughout the R/3 System.

Do reward me with points if it helps u.

thnks.
