No authorization in SM30, create a program

hi i need to maintain a table but i have no authorization in SM30, so we decided to create a custom program, I was thinking of replicating SM30 in the new program but a friend of mine told me to do this...

1. To create the customized T-code.

2. SM30 as the Parameter Transaction.

3. VIEWNAME <ZTV_GM2_PRCTR>.

4. UPDATE X.

will this ork even my userid does not have authorization to use the tcode SM30?

Hi

First u create the tcode for SM30 for the table u need update.This should not through authorization error.

Try it.
