New editor: Replace in selection; %SurroundedText% in code template

Hi friends,

working with the new editor I need help (which is not available anywhere?):

1. Ctrl-H is seach and replace. Although I select text where to do it, I have to check the 'Replace in selection' box - otherwise it takes some time and replaces in whole text. How to avoid this?

2. I played around with code templates. What is the %SurroundedText% variable good for? Is there any other way to invoke a template except typing name and then quick ENTER?

1. issues remains. The new editor does not behave as other common tools do.

2. mark source with text, right-mouse-click, format -> surround by template.

A Colleague has sent me a very useful powerpont presentation by Michael Acker about workbench tips and tricks: The best new-editor-documentation for the time being.

Don't know where to get it
