Negative values on screen

Hi,

In screen painter I have designed one quantity field (vekp-ntgew). In screen if I enter negative value (-100) and if I press enter it is giving dump and showing the message ‘The ABAP output field and the screen field may not have the same format’. How to eliminate this dump. Please help me I will give points.

Hi,

NTGEW is used for quantity. you cant enter a quantity with negative value.

Try to create a Z domain and dataelement or find a std data element
