Hello Friends,

This is Reshali,as part of my academics.

I would like to design a 3rd party SAP reporting tool. where the tables and fields and conditions will be given and the relevant data will be passed back to the application.

For the I feel some thing like this will work (dynamic data retrival using RFCs.)

Please provide me your views ....atleast theoretically.....

thanks,

Reshali.

Hai,

Thanks for interest. The basic idea is to generate reports with minimum ABAP coding.

And to give some more flexibility.

I went on googling saw some companies with reports tools as their products....

Please help....

Thanks,

Reshali.

Hai Renu....

Yes .. But its just like a Hypothesis, where we dont need to show exactly things. But a more realistic plan and idea will do enough. This was just an idea so do you think ,the reasons or purpose of the application is good enough. And answering you question it could be based on any Web development technology.More easily JAVA will access R/3 by JCo.

Nice talking to you and found SDN very useful . Please suggest.

Thanks,

Reshali.
