multiple selection input file

hi guys,

I am trying to Input list of Dev class from Txt file to execute SCI.

While multiple selection in Development class using SCI. I cant find the FILE INPUT icon to input list of development class in it.

How can i make available FILE INPUT icon in multiple selection dialog box.

Just for information Working on 46C SP9.

In SCI goto Utilities -> Result filtering , there you can find a select option field for Package (dev. class). you can use multiple values from file/clipboard there

Could you please be more specific where it is. I cannot find your menu utilities under RESULT FILTERING.

In SCI, object set, trying to give list of Dev class. under Utilities i can see only documentation menu and not RESULT FILTERING.

I am not sure if it is different in 4.6c but in ecc 5.0 I can see Utilities -> Results -> Filtering wherein you can give Package in the selection.

By the way in the 4.6c that we have here, there is no SCI trxn!

Yes you are correct. 46C does not have SCI. But we imported seperately to execute collection of program.

However i understood Multiple selection input file option is not there in 46C, Am i right.

if so please confirm . i will reward and close this thread.

Multiple selection dialog for Package is available in SCI in ERP 2004 (ECC 5) using the above mentioned menu path, here we see two separate icons on the same dialog for import from file and import from clipboard.

If you are asking if the multiple selection - import from text file is available 4.6C, it is there.and accessed through "import from text file" icon shown on the dialog and after clicking this icon we can see both a field for text file path as well as icon for copying from clipboard.

But I can understand you may face issues with the difference in which this dialog is displayed in 4.6c as compared to higher versions..

For example in 4.6C, try VBAK in SE16 and click the multiple selection button. You can see the subsequent dialog showing a small green icon for importing through text file. If you click it you can see options for file and clipboard input as well.

This is now changed in ECC 5 and above, by showing both the file and clipboard import options on the same dialog when we click the multiple selection button
