Multiple Key fields in Custom Business Objects

Hello All,

I am trying to create a Custom Business Object with multiple key fields. I am not able to publish the custom business object and am facing the below error.

I am trying to do this in SAP S/4HANA 1809 (Extended Edition). If the answer is no, I would like to understand if I could have multiple key fields in Custom Business Objects in the latest version (SAP S/4HANA 2020 - Extended Edition)

Hi sarish.numbialil2 ,

From this screenshot, it looks like you have not yet selected any key for the node <<ACCOUNTMANAGER>>. The error message depicts that.

Have you selected any key field yet?

Hi Rohit,

I can publish the CBO if there is one key field. When I tried to select multiple fields as key, I face the below error. The screenshot below for reference.

Just uncheck the following option under <<General Information>>. The CBO would be activated.

Thank you Rohit. I can publish the CBO.

I have a question: I was planning to use a field in the CBO for f4 help of a Custom field. Would it be possible if I uncheck this option.

Hi Sarish,

Kindly mark the question as answered, so that it benefits others as well :).

Coming back to your second question, answer is - you need to select this option in case you want to use <<association to business object>>.
