Move object from $tmp to development class

Basis people have created an empty transport request for me. I want to move a program which is currently in $tmp local development class to a common development class ZCOM kindly let me know what are the steps i need to take. I tried going to SE10 and including the program in the transport request directly but I dont have the authorization to do that. However there is a task assigned to me in the same transport request.

Go to SE38, enter the program name and then in the menu, 'GoTo-->Object Directory Entry', click on change button and enter the new package (development class). Enter the transport number given by your basis team when prompted. That is it.
