Move corresponding data from standard to hashed table

Hello Folks,

Iam facing the problem in moving the data from standard table to hashed table. Getting type compatible error. Please suggest what can be done on this.

if it is type compatible error, then first you need to check for which fields this type compatible error is occuring and then you need to adjust or use temporary variables to move the data from one table to other table.

and also i want to use the statement append lines of (standard table) to (hashed table)

You cannot append lines to hashed tables, since this would invalidate the sort order.

Hi

Make sure the 2 structures are same and HASHED table with unique key doesnt accept duplicate values

or you can loop the standard table and can use MOVE-CORRESPONDING then append it to the HASHDE TABLE

so sort standard table and delete adjacent duplicates from it otherwise you will get a dump.
