hi,

i would like to know about monitoring,like what to monitor in db02,db12,st06,sm12,st02, so maney things are there on which part we ave to monitor,hope u understand my question.

db02 - moniter the database growth and missing index

st06 - check the idle time of cpu must be >30% and also we check the connectivity

db12- we can check log of backup logs

sm12 we need to check for old locks

st02 we need to check buffers utilisations

You might want to take a look at transaction SSAA (System Administration Assistant). Its a very useful tool for monitoring as well.
