how to disable menu item using dialog programming,

hi,

what do u mena by menu item?

In dialog programming u need to create ur status ( menu bar )

Otherwise no button will come......

i mean how to disable menu bar by using code only,not by navigation.

You can use EXCLUDING option in SET PF-STATUS statement.
