Modify table

Hi,

I have statement :

MODIFY skb1 FROM TABLE itab

in my program. Which is the safest way to modify database table?

Anybody know standard function module or any other otpion to modify skb1?

Hi,

It is not recommended to update/insert records in the standard tables through program lines.

There are many BAPI to update TCODE FS00 (SKB1).

It is upto your Requirement you will be using particular BAPI.

Plz check tcode BAPI for your BAPI.

The following BAPI's are avialable with this regard..

BAPI_GL_GETGLACCBALANCE - closing balance of G/L account for a chosen year.

BAPI_GL_GETGLACCCURRENTBALANCE - closing balance of G/L account for the current year

BAPI_GL_GETGLACCPERIODBALANCES - Posting period balances for each G/L account.

BAPI_AP_ACC_GETKEYDATEBALANCE: Opening Vendor balance

BAPI_AR_ACC_GETKEYDATEBALANCE: Opening Customer Balance
