Modify Standard GUI Status - Add SAVE button

Hi Folks,

As per the requirements, I need to modify a standard GUI status. I need to add the SAVE button which should have the same functionality as the SAVE button on system tool bar (function keys) or the in the menu toolbar. So all I have done is- using modification assitant, added a new button to application toolbar which has the same function code as the SAVE button in the Function keys.

Now I have activated the application toolbar and the whole function group. But the new button is not displayed on the transaction. Even when I test run the GUI status alone (from SE80), this new button in not displayed.

Am I missing something here? Do I need to make any additional changes?

try to check if your button is active in the std gui.

Hey Max,

Yeah, it's active. Also, I have copied it from standard system bar. SAVE button is shown there.

Created a button with a different function code and then changed the PAI code to do the same thing with this button as with SAVE button.

Try providing a function key setting for it. Like Shift + F2
