Modify generated segments - idoc

Hi,

I have a Z message type with a segment. I need to add a new field into the segment. But i am getting this error:

"Segment type Z1BP_CONTAINERINFO cannot be changed"

because the segment in already generated!!

How can this be resolved?

Are you sure the segment/IDoc has been canceled the release? If it is released you cannot modify the segment.

Released segments cannot be changed. First you have to cancel the release for the segment and then change the segment.
