Modification operations menu are inactive in Class Builder

Hello ABAP experts,

We're currently using SAP EHP 2 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SP09. We have SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 components on this system as well, and we have just upgraded to the new Gateway release of SP03 which released about 10 days ago. After upgrading, the menu items in "Modification operations" menu in Class Builder become inactive, including "Modification Overview" and "Switch Off Assistant" menu items. In addition, when we access to public section, protected and private section of the class definition, edit function is disable, we won't be able to edit.

Have you encountered this problem before? How do I enable the modification operations menu items again?

It seems like an authorization problem. Check with your basis tem.

Hi Kiran,

Would you be able to elaborate a bit more on what I need to look for in authorization? We do have S_DEVELOP authorization assigned to our users. What else do we need to enable Modification operations?
