Modification Assistant in PF Status

Hi Friends,

I am trying to include one new function Code using PF status,but system didn't allow, it says "Assign the Function key to the Function code"....(This is for Z dialog program)

i found some discussions that if we switch Off Modification assistant then i can include the Function code in PF status..

But i need to know what will be the impact if  i switch off the Modification Assistant...

Hi Shyam,

You may select from list of available Function Keys.

It is just Keyboard shortcut for that button.

Any reason why you do not want to assign Function Key ?

Hi,

I think you are trying to add a button to application tool bar. I think it is mandatory to give function keys to each button you are creating in the application tool bar. As mentioned by nisha function keys are only keyboard shortcuts.
