MM02 - Update termination error

user can't execute MM02 in a test non production system. she receives termination error when try to save the changes that she makes to the Basic Data Text where as it doesn't happen if anything else is changed in the material. This is only happening in the test system but not in the production system.

Can any one please suggest ?

Any helpful inputs would be well appreciated.

You can use SM13 or SM14 to analyze failed updates.

I checked the error its giving "CALL_FUNCTION_OPEN_ERROR"

An error occurred when executing a Remote Function Call.

Internal error code.... "RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE"

Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLCRM0" - in "CRM_SEND_DATA".

The main program was "RSM13000 ".

Tried to debug also but as the FM BAPI_CRM_SAVE exists in CRM system I can't get inside this FM from R/3 while debugging.

Also checked the RFC connections its working fine.

might be a issue with user roles.

check with BASIS guys

have you checked SU53 after getting this error?

Yes I just checked the SU53...and sent the error screen shot to Basis...hope this helps.

yes, this means you all have auth errors. tell the basis guys to assign you a role which has the auth object mentioned in su53
