Minimum Roles to Execute the BAPI

Hello All,

I have created one User with only one role 'SAP_BC_DWB_ABAPDEVELOPER'. Now by running Tocde Se37 i can bale to execute the BAPI 'BAPI_BILLINGDOC_GETDETAIL' and able to retrieve the records also. But when i tried to execute the another one namely 'BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL2', it gives me error saying 'You are not authorized to display customers'.

I am not getting what is the reason behind this??

Can you tell me the minimum roles that should assigned user to execute the BAPI??

Hi,

Here you need to get customer display authorization. As the BAPI is a standard one.

To execute the 'BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL2' u need customer display authorization.

Many thanks for your prompt reply. Can you tell me how to find roles for the customer display authorization. Basically i am not a basis person, so please help me.

Assigned minimum required role to the user with the help of TCode SUIM. and by Role--> Transaction Assignment.
