Hello, my client uses smart forms for all the print forms related developments. they have almost 15 to 20 Forms.
Recently, the client is in confusion whether to migrate all the smart forms into Adobe forms and they do not have any requirement to have interactive, edit online or offline and integration with webdynpro. Just forms has to be migrated.
My question is
1. Do we really need to migrate the smart forms since, there are no interactive forms (Just normal print forms) requirement ?
2. IF we don't migrate will it be an issue when we migrate from Oracle to HANA or S4 HANA ? will it support?
3. IF you still want to migrate those forms? Please list out the benefits which I can explain to the client ?

1. Why don't you just ask your client why he wants to migrate from Smart Forms to Adobe Forms? We're not in his head, we don't know him, but you know him.
2. S/4HANA supports smart forms. It's just deprecated.
3. Ask the client what issues he has with Smart Forms.
If some thing has no issues, no requirements to change it, I don't see why it should be changed. If somebody wants to change it, ask him why, if there's no reason tell him, if he insists, he's the boss.

Thanks for your suggestion.
The reason for migration is right now the smart forms are designed for multiple countries.
For example the same delivery note is being used for multiple countries base on country flag the logic will flow accordingly. There were three pages first, next and last page. Many program lines were written in the forms which does not support Adobe forms. Now, client says that due to the complexity of the forms it's very difficult to identify the place to add even simple logic. So, that is the reason we are looking for migrate into Adobe forms to make the forms are simpler and clear enough for upcoming rollout project.
Please let me know if the requirement clear for you and let me know how complex to migrate for complex forms as per delivery note requirement?
