Migrated BADI Implementation not triggering in ECC 6.0

Hi Experts,

Need your urgent assistance how to deal with migrated BADI implementation which is not triggering in ECC 6.0. This is for PO (ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST). In the original version (4.6) it was working fine. But when this is migrated to ECC 6.0, it's not firing. Please help to trigger this one in ECC 6.0.

Is the underlying program for PO processing changed in ECC6.0 from 4.6?

Hi Atish,

Yes SAPLMEGUI (program for ME21n) are different from 4.6 and ECC 6.0. The main difference is that in ECC 6.0, there are enhancement points. Hope this clarifies your question.

Have you checked in the debugging if the control is going till the point where the BADI call is triggered?

Is there any change in the BADI call?

Yes, I put a breakpoint in the code but its not triggered. I am new to BADI implementation and I need to have this work.

Can you just paste the code in the BADI.(The method in which code is there)

Is this BADI implemented and in the Active status.

Check in SE19 if the implementation exist or not?

There may be chances that some condition is not met which can trigger this BADI. Have you read the documentation of the BADI?

The code has no problems and is working fine in 4.7. My concern is that why is this implementation not called in ECC 6.0. Are there any difference in BADI implementation between 4.7 and ECC 6.0. If you have any ideas on migration of implementation of BADI, please let me know. This is very urgent and points will be awarded.

Take your BADI in SE19 and check whether it is active. Else activate it and try again.

Suggestion : Classical BAdI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST has been migrated to Enhancement spot ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST.
