1)how many types of meterials?what r there?

2)what is the attribute to hold the meterial type?what is the table name?

3)same type of meterials possibulity having different views are same views?

Material types are stored in table T134 and the text for them are stored in table T134T. The field is MTART. You can do SE16 on these tables to see all of the material types. THe material master views can be configured for each material type.

Hi,

You can also get the material type from MARA table,field name is MTART.

Number of material types in an SAP system depends on How many types of material an organization is using...There is no fixed numbers..it will vary..
