memory probleam

hi,

my alv report is working fine ..

but in production ,it is giving dump.

it may be memory probleam in my internal table..

can u tell me what is the approach to solve this probleam

Hi ,

What you said is right.The problem may be due to memory overflow.

If you can show the way you have declared your Internal table and the point at which it is giving dump,the issue would be more clear .

I guess the program is dumping when you run it in production. Please check the dump analysis or paste it here .

Hi ,

If it is giving dump due to memory problem , you can use the " Package size n " after select .

...........INTO [CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF] TABLE itab PACKAGE SIZE n .

Here n should be positive integer .
