How many Sessions ,Maximam we can create ?

Maximum is 6

login into SAP and enter /O 6 times in command bar,when you enter 7th time ,you get message like maximum session you reached.

so more specifically to say in one LOGON u can have maximum of 6 sessions..

now u can do one thing ...jusst dont close the already opened sessions ...and LOGON once more ....again for that logon u can have upto 6 sessions....in this way it will go on and on ..........

so,

6 sessions / per logon (Teoritical answer).

now see how many sessions u can open on ur machine until it hangs...

you can get 6 sessions at the same time and with same user name again u can create another 6 sessions. So with several user name you can open or create any number of sessions.

Maximum is 6 you can create for your satisfaction login into SAP and enter /O or click the button in the right side or Goto menu bar Sytem --> Create Session.

And see the result!

6 is default value but it can range from 2 to 9 (16 for older SAP versions), all depends on instance profile parameter rdisp/max_alt_modes

Hi spart ,

you can open maximum session at a time is 6 , if u open more that 6 session the system will give a pop up message i.e maximum no of session reached.
