MATNR

Hi All,

in my prg i have selection screen where i accepts MATNR from user

so for that field i have referred the type EKPO-MATNR then i am getting F4 help but when i select one value then that is not being transporting to screen...

if i referr it to MARA-MATNR then i am able to do it..

what might be the reason

i am very curious to know the reason

valid answers will be rewarded..
