I have a requirement here to update the plant specific prices of the material.
<u>Here is the flow:</u>
A file will be generated from the source system with all necessary fields (still to finalize what the fields are....right now we are thinking of only 4 fields. They are material, description, plant and price).
Those fields will be mapped using middleware (web methods) and publish an IDOC.
Then the IDOC must be processed and should update the accounting view tables of the material master.
Here are my questions:
1. What is the general ways of updating the material prices?
2. If anybody came across this kind of requirement, can you please share what fields are required for material price update as part of the flat file?
3. For publishing the IDOC, what segment fields do we need to provide to the middleware team?\
4. Is there any standard program which will process those inbound IDOCS and update the accounting1 view tables of the material master?
