Managing upgradation

Dear experts,

We have recently upgraded FI EA-PS module from a low to very higer version.Using SAP 4.7.

I have some queires before trying to do SPAU activity.

I find the standard objects that mingled easily with patch are in green color as implemented status.

One SAP note is in yellow color triangle.I checked the related code of the same sap note .

This was checked in one of function modules which sap note was intended to modify .

I found the code matching and things working well without doing any SPAU activity.

If i do not do any spau activity behaviour will be same or is there any limit in days >

Hi Aditya,

If SPAU is reflecting all the objects with GREEN traffic signal, then you simply need to click that icon & provide a Transport request. GREEN traffic signal indicates automatic fix by SAP, our involvement is only of a click on tht icon.

If its a Green color background, then you dont have to do anything.

If the SAP note is reflected with Yellow icon, then check if the note is valid for your system. Steps : Goto SNOTE. edit => SAP Note Browser & enter the note number => Execute. It will display CAN BE IMPLEMENTED or CANNOT be implemented or partially implemented etc.

If its CAN BE IMPLEMENTED, please go ahead & implement the note & provide a TR.
