making standard field editable ?

Hi all,

I need to make ' Valid upto ' field in CS02 transaction in the ediatble mode ( currently in Display mode ).is it possible through enhancement or thru configuration ?

Hello Siva,

You can use transaction variant for this.

Run transaction SHD0 and create a transaction variant for CS02 and check the box Required for Valid upto field. At the end save and activate the transaction variant you have created.

But we cannot change non-editable field to editable field using transaction variant.
