Maintenance View joining 2 tables

After creating Maintenance View joining 2 tables , If i edit the entries of check table it remains unchanged ...only it allows me to edit foreign key table entries...why is this so?

After creating Maintenance View joining 2 tables , If i edit the entries of check table it remains unchanged ...only it allows me to edit foreign key table entries...why is this so?

Have you changed the "Maint. Status" in the view to

1. Read and Change

2. "Display/Maint. Allowed"?
