Hi,
I've created a maintenance view to display descriptions in SM30.
The description is obviously marked as "ReadOnly".
Unfortunately, at "New Entry" the field is active !
Will I have to customize the screen (or use the event 05) to hide the field ?
Thanks in advance.

How did you flag the field as "read only", by setting the maintenance attribute in SE11 for the view field to "R"? This usually works for me.

You will have to change screen attribute... But keep in mind these chages will get vanished if tmg is regenerated.

Yes, this way.
It works fine in the overview screen. But when you enter in "New entry", the field gets active.

Sorry, I cannot replicate this here, columns are read-only even after hitting "new entries".
Did you check for related SAP notes? Maybe someone else can help.

Solved with
Note 948961 - SM30: Read-only fields are editable in maintenance dialog.
