Hi Friends,

I am working on LSMW for t-code XD01.When i reach the 13th step, i am getting the follwing message.

Session 1: Special character for 'empty field' is /

and the session is not creating..can any body tell me what is the problem..

In the above problem..Session is craeting,but it is not processing that session what is the problem can any body let me know...

Hi,

Just create a rule where you set the particular field to space. Something like this:

move space to field.

Hi kumar,

when you load the file you need to specify the defualt character to be empty character which you would have forgotten to specify.

If you can do this it would go through.

Hope this solution helps.

at the step of assigning files.

this is a step where you will specify whether header will have its own text.

what are the delimters which you will use while upload of this file.

hope that you have got me correctly.

as at this point of time i am unable to repeat the recording XD01 on my system.

the message you got is an information,we dont need to do any thing.for any blank fields LSMW will place a /.

check all of ur field values after conversion.

go to "display converted data".check each field is populated correctly there including the tcode value & other common heading like "keep session" etc..

revert,if you need any further help on this.
