LSMW using idoc

hi everyone,

i started working on LSMW by selecting 'using IDOC' in the first process step(maintian object attributes.)

in the source field maintenance i copied the structurefields from the respository.

in the field mapping step (5th step) is it compulsary to map all the fields with the corresponding fields?

here i have more than 50 fields . assume that we have only 20 fields in the flat file.
