LSMW using BAPI.

Hi,

I was trying to upload po using through LSMW using BAPI.

I am working on ECC 6.0

I created a project, sub project and object.

I selected BAPI as my method for dat transfer.

Now when i save the 1st step it gives me a message "Maintain the default values for IDOC Inbound processing".

Then i clicked maintain port to create a port......... ..i create port name then i clicked save button ,,,,,,,,sys show message as Please maintain the directory and file

For inbound processing , you need not create ports...For this u hve to do some settings...

like creation of process code , partner profiles ,message types

Goto we42 and create process codes and link ur bapi

Goto we20 and create partner profile and attach message type and process code

Enter the Tcode LSMW and goto SETTINGS --> click IDOC Inbound processing its going the WE20 tcode there you can assing

File port

Partn.Type

Partner No.

then click Mintain Partner numbers then select logical sysytem and pas the inbound parameters

like Message type and Process code...
