LSMW Routing Standard Batch Input Create Batch Input Session

Hello All,

I am using LSMW for routing upload, using standard batch input method. Program RCPTRA01.

I am facing this quite peculiar problem.

I have tried first with separate text file for every source structure. Everything works fine till convert data step.

But when I go for 'Create Batch Input Session' it creates session for tables MAPL, PLKO, PLPO, PLMZ, PLMK. Other tables remain balnk (EAPL, PLFL, PLAB, PLFH, PLPH, PLFT, PLFV, PLWP). Because of this while running the session only the header and material assignment to task list get uploaded. Rest data, operation, MIC, component allocation do not get uploaded.

I have also tried for one text file for multiple structure. In that I face porblem for BDC creation. While debugging I faced th same thing in this also.

Could anyone please explain me the soution for this? Do I need to amend any progrm fior this?

Expecting lightning fast replies from Gurus....

Hello Guys,

I have come across several threads where the others have listed the same problem. After the running the batch input session, system creates the header and material assignment to the routing and skips the rest of the data (operation, inspection characteristics, component allocation etc.), unfortunately none of te thread contains any solution for this problem.

Guys I am eagrly waiting for the solution............

Please help........

Hi Mimiri,

Which SAP version are you in ?

Have a look at SAP notes below (for 46C , 470)

Note 717199 - RCPTRA01 component allocations are not uploaded correctly

Note 736263 - Component assigments to BOM alternatives not uploaded

Note 1397846 - RCPTRA01: Inspection characteristic for "Input Processing" (SAP_APPL 500, 600 - 604)

Hi Mimiri,

sorry to ask you these elementary questions, but your post doesn't tell if you checked these:

Did you make sure the file after conversion contains data for operation, MIC, component allocation?

After execution, did you check the messages returned in the batch input session?

Did you run the batch input session screen by screen, to see when the issue really occurs?

If you still don't see what is the cause, do as Rajvansh proposed.

Hello,

First of all thanks Rajvansh/ Sandra for replying me.

The problem lies in operation upload. The version is 6.0.

Sandra- Yes the data gets properly converted.

I also run the batch input session created. Only the header and material assignment gets uploaded and system skips everything else.

Could you please throw some light on this please?

To my surprise there is no problem while uploading general maintenance task list (most of the structure is same, although the program is different).

Awaiting your valuable help........

Thanks again for taking note of my issue.....

Hi,

Do you follow exactly the instructions from RCPTRA01 documentation? Did you compare your file and the one from RCPBTCO1 or RCPTRA00?

Did you read SAP note 89464 - Latest version batch input routings RCPTRA01? (It contains recommendations, and troubleshooting)

If you feel it's a bug, you should contact SAP support.

Hi Sandra,

Where can I have RCPTRA01 documentation? What are these programs RCPBTCO1 & RCPTRA00?

I shall fo through the note 89464 & get back to you.

Hi Mimiri,

this is the (big) online doc provided with the program. The 2 other programs are detailed in that doc.

I let you read it, probably the solution is in there.
