Hi Friends
I try to specify file in LSMW (from local PC).
<b>Legacy Data On the PC (Frontend)</b>
When I save this step I get error like "No Logical Path Specified".
What should I do to correct this problem. Please help me.
Thanks in advance.
Hari
Srikanth thanks.
When I check logical path & file for converted data, those fields are mandatory fields. There is now value assigned, so I get this error. Now I assign logical path & file which already defined in system.
For the lofical path, when I check in FILE transaction it has physical path as /usr/sap/DEV/SYS/global/<FILENAME>.
But when I assign this logical path in LSMW (converted data)..I get error message like "Logical path does not point to physical directory"
What should I do in this case.
Please explain me.
Thanks

OPTION 1 :
you can create a logical path in FILE transaction to overcome this problem.
OPTION 2 :
Converted Data /int/D01/030/in/REQ499_MRPVIEW.lsmw.conv
Logical Path Z_LSMW_SCM_PATH
Logical File ZREQ499_MRP
remove the logical path value and logical file values,if you entered.
then say save.
Thanks

Logical path are created by T-code FILE
Mostly BASIS does this job, please contact them to assign logical path.
you can do without logical path also.

There is no such type of steps here.
in the SPECIFY FILES step,
check have you entered any value for LOGICAL PATH & LOGICAL FILES in the CONVERTED FILES part.
if so, remove those values. now you dont get this error.

check to that logical path, is there any physical path assigned or not in FILE.
in FILE, it should be looks like,
Logical path Z_LSMW_SCM_PATH
Name Legacy System Migration Workbench
-
Syntax group UNIX Unix compatible
Physical path /int/D01/030/in/<FILENAME>
