Lsmw error

Hi

I am trying to create LSWM program for Material classification data, When i create a program i am getting one error in specify file step, error like No logical file & path specified. Anyway i created logical file & parh, then i am getting error in Start direct input program step error like 'Logical file name 'Z_LOGICALFILE_CLASS1' is not permissible'.

Please suggest me. . .

can you describe how you created the logical file ?

did you follow the instructions outlined in OSS Note 753511 - Logical and physical path and file name in transaction LSMW

Hi

I created Logical file & path for classification using FILE transaction and assign the phisical file also. But when i executing the last step in LSMW program i am getting one error.

Error like 'Logical file name 'CLASSIFICATION_ERROR' already exists' .

Please help me....

which logical file name did you create and want to use?

'Z_LOGICALFILE_CLASS1' or 'CLASSIFICATION_ERROR'

which logical path and logical file name do you see in step 7 of LSMW?

Hi

I created logical file 'Z_LOGICALFILE_CLASS1' and i am using this only. But i dont create 'CLASSIFICATION_ERROR' and there was no logical file in the system also. But i got error "CLASSIFICATION_ERROR' already exists.
