How do i check the log for LSMW direct Input

Also When i run the LSMW program the LAST STEP has Start Direct Input

What all step do i need to select to make the program run Automatically

Now i tried running the last step but had to press Enter key until the load was Over

Once you upload everthing in online then you will get Log file in screen or list.

How do i revisit to the log once the processing is over

Here i am trying to get the errors rrecords and also checking the performance so need to know how much the processing time for the direct input and other log details

How do i go and check this information

that Transaction Sohws no details its Completely Blank

BMV0 - will show details only if u did data upload thru BMV0. advantage of BMV0, is u can do, error processing.. like, correct only those entries, which wre erroneous, and resubmit just those entries.

if u have executed it just by scheduling a job, you can go to sm36 and see the job log.. it will show step by step..what all happened for each entry... where exacly was the error, what was reason for failure etc..

i have to put the Variant field i Guess

What should be the value for that ??

u have to create a variant for whatever is the program u are executing.

for eg, if u are doing customer upload, program is RFBIDE00.

execute this program.. on sel screen, give the required details like, file path etc.. save as a variant.

then go to sm36, create a job .. and give this variant ... then use BMV0 for that job.

ok, when u execute that, u will get a selection screen, right ?

there u can enter details like, ur file path , (if on presentation server, use physical file, else, logical file ), ..

and other details which depends upon ur need..(like..only import file..etcc)..

and click save... here u can give a name for ur variant.. give the same name..while u create job, when specifying variant..

I got some logical errors in the beginning but than after increasing the error count i was able to run that
