Hi,

LSMW is a third party tool for updating the data. SAP does not provide this facility.

Call transaction method updates the data using screen in foreground mode. If you want to make it as background then you need to do it manually as no screen.

Other methods updates the data in background.

You can use recording method in LSMW only for session method not for call transacion method.
