LOGOS & SMARTFORMS

Hello,

I need to print a logo in a Smartform. The background of the logo is transparent but when I try to upload the logo to SAP some errors occurs:

-From BMP to SAP, the quality colors is worse than the orignial

-From TIFF to SAP, I get the following error: "File TIFF: wrong TIF format" I debugged the SE78 and the error is in the TIFF TAG 258 "bits per sample tag"

The right solution would be upload a transparent TIFF to SAP. Does somebody know how I can get a right TIFF format to upload to SAP? The tiff format that give me PhotoShop didn't work.

Thank you very much in advance

Manuel

Hi,

Execute the program RSTXLDMC & upload the file into SAP.

Thanks,

Ok, that is possible but this is an obsolete program which creates the logo as standard text. By the way, the error is the same.

Hi,

For Color Graphics :

Convert the TIF file before you are importing to SAP using SE78 into a 256 colors TIF file. Check OSS Note 39031.

OK.

But one question:

Is it possible to upload a logo to SAP with more than 256 colors? My logo has letter with a special blue color which isn't in the 256 colors palete.

Thanks,

Manuel

Liz,

SE78 is the only way you can upload your logos, as the original is more than 256 colors that logo on the SMART Form may not look as good as the original, but I think it will be decent enough.

Ravi
