Hi All,
Can anyone please let me know, whether standard Logical database will read the archived data or not. Since we are using archive option to read the data from archive file for custom reports and they are used the standard logical database for data retrieve.
Let me know LDB will read archive data or not?

Hi Kannan.
Yes, Standard logical database will read archive data.
These function modules were developed by SAP for easy implementation of reading archived data.
ARCHIVE_GET_NEXT_STRUCT_SPECIF and ARCHIVE_GET_RECORD_INFO

Yes you can definitely read archived data from an LDB , if we require it.
