Hello,

I've saved my objects as local objects. But now I've to transaport them to a given package. When I save an object as a local object, how do I transport it?

Regards

Indu.

Hi,

In your Object in menu tab ::

GOTO --> OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY.

go there and give the package in which you want to transport your object.

Save the same after this. It will ask for transport.

Hope this answers your question.

regards,

Lalit

Use the [Repository Browser|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/d1/80194b454211d189710000e8322d00/frameset.htm] for [Assigning an Object to a Different Package|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/d1/801972454211d189710000e8322d00/frameset.htm]

(The Repository Browser is a tool you use to display, access and edit development objects. It is part of the Object Navigator and is started by default when you execute transaction SE80.)

Hi Indu,

goto SE38 -> Goto -> Object Directory entry.

Press Display/Change (F6) and insert in Package you will use. If it's an transportable Package

you can insert an New or exitsting transport item.

Hope it helps.

Hi,

When u save an object as local object, you cannot transport to any other system by any means.

U should change the package from $TMP to your package name by using the following navigation.

goto -> object directory entry

then in the change mode enter ur package name.

Best Regards.

Go to SE80 (object repository) and check the objects in LOCAL PACKAGE.

Check your object and right click --> Other functions --> Change package assignment and give the appropriate package and this will lead to Transport entry.

Hi,

Run the program RSWBO052 in ABAP Editor (Tcode: SE38).

In this you can change the package name / development class name.

Select the object type, enter the name and press "F8" key.

On the next screen double click on the object and change the package and save.

Hope it helps you.

Murthy.
