The Central Bank has introduced a new currency and the ratio is 1:1000. So basically we want to divide everything in the system by 1000 and still maintain the same iso key. We are looking for a solution that would cover all the tables that contain monetary values.
what we have done in the interim is to introduce the new currency as a foreign currency until the deadline and from 3 weeks time, we want to have a solution by then. We would also like to find out whether in the proposed solution we have an option to specify whether we want to preserve historical data or convert it to the new currency.

Dear Trevor,
that is a very huge question. I can only tell you that when there was the Euro conversion for UE companies SAP provided a conversion tool. I think finally you have to mantain 2 different currency keys but it's only my opinion.
I should ask SAP itself.
Good luck

hi,
here's an adventurous proposal:
try to use the tools of the EURO-conversion
(packages :EWU*)
and ask your SAP-Consultant / OSS , whether you can use this sources
hope that helps
Andreas
