Link between BOM usage and BOM application

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the table or link between the BOM usage and BOM application. I have a program in which the user enters the BOM usage on the selection screen but to display the BOM components i need to pass the BOM application to the function module corresponding to the BOM usage entered. So how can i find the application corresponding to the usage.
