Line Length

Hi Experts,

In SE38 I have the problem. Like,

Im typing some texts In editor it displys like,

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Like this only its entered.

But I want to print Like In deitor [Not in ouput]

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Are u using line-count[X] any where in the report?

check that.

in the report statement, u just give the line length as line-size 255,

then try

in se38 editor go to menupath Utilities-->Settings

if there in the popup Downward-compat. line length (72) is checked then unchecked that.

Change the settings in ABAP EDITOR.

go to Utitlities-> settings

Select ABAP EDITOR tab.

select Editor tab in that.

uncheck Downwards-Comp. Line length(72).

Pls give NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING LINE-SIZE 255 LINE-COUNT 30 in the report statement and try.

I thing LINE-SIZE 255 is used in Output.
