LFA1 adding date field

Hi,

I would add with an append, in table LFA1 a custom field.

This field should allow to select a date and then it will store the information saved.

For example if I select the date of today and then I saved, system will store the information.

The only problem is that I don't know how to do it and what table and field should I use.

Create an append to table LFA1 (e.g. ZALFA1) and add a DATS type ZZ field. then read
