YES & the PNP LDB is used quite often in HR..

Yes..

Its better to use LDB's if you are workig in HR ABAP and project system.

It again depends on the volume of data. if the volume of data is low, then its suggestable to use LDB's.

Yes ofcourse we use LDB's. It depends on the specifications, But generally HR uses more of LDB's..PNP is one..

I wouldn't call it a silly doubt.. the following <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/fc/eb2d4d358411d1829f0000e829fbfe/frameset.htm">SAP Help</a> mentions the use of LDB as an Obsolete technique..
